Return & Refund Policy

At Blue Ocean Ventures LLC, we strive to provide premium, certified eco-friendly, biodegradable, and sustainable products to our wholesale business customers across the European Union. Because we operate as a B2B wholesale supplier, returns and refunds are handled differently from consumer retail transactions.
This Return & Refund Policy explains when returns are accepted, how claims must be submitted, and how refunds or replacements are processed for orders placed through www.blueoceanlt.com.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to wholesale orders shipped from our Vilnius, Lithuania warehouse to retailers, distributors, wholesalers, corporate buyers, and other business customers within the European Union.
Returns may be accepted for:
- Products damaged during transit
- Incorrect products delivered
- Verified manufacturing defects
- Short shipments (missing quantities)
Returns are generally NOT accepted for:
- Change of mind
- Over-ordering or unsold inventory
- Products damaged after delivery
- Custom-made or specially sourced products
- Products altered, used, or resold by the buyer
- Minor variations in color, texture, weave, or finish that are inherent to natural and sustainable materials such as jute and eco-textiles
2. Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers must inspect all shipments immediately upon receipt.
If any issue is discovered, notify both the delivery carrier (where applicable) and Blue Ocean Ventures LLC within 7 business days of delivery.
Your claim should include:
- Order or invoice number
- Description of the issue
- Quantity affected
- Clear photographs of the products and packaging
- Delivery date and carrier information
Failure to report issues within the inspection period may constitute acceptance of the shipment.
3. Return Authorization (RMA Required)
Do not return goods without prior written approval.
To request a return, email sales@blueoceanlt.com (replace with your official email address) with the required claim information.
If approved, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) containing:
- RMA reference number
- Return shipping instructions
- Return address (Vilnius warehouse or designated location)
- Packaging requirements
Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned to the sender at the buyer's expense.

5. Refund Options
After inspection and approval, we may provide one of the following remedies:

Refunds are issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Non-Returnable Products
- Custom-branded or private-label products

8. Sustainability & Product Characteristics
Many of our products are manufactured from natural, biodegradable materials such as jute, cotton, and eco-textiles. Slight variations in color, texture, fiber appearance, weave pattern, or handcrafted finishing are natural characteristics of sustainable materials and do not constitute manufacturing defects.
9. Limitation of Liability
Blue Ocean Ventures LLC's responsibility is limited to the value of the affected products. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, business interruption, or other consequential damages arising from delayed, damaged, or rejected shipments.
